I always had desire to understand how the financial sector works. With that passion and knack for numbers it led me to pursue a degree in Actuarial Science. Realising my calling was more aligned with economics, I switched to a degree in Mathematics and Economics.At the University of the West Indies, I excelled at Urban and Regional Economics, Intermediate Macro-Economics I, Intermediate Macro-Economics II & Principles of Marketing. Through these courses I've gained better experience in understanding how economic factors affect one another as well as how economics can go beyond the textbook and influence our everyday life.In order to gain experience in the financial world, I worked part-time at The Maritime Financial Group where I was responsible for data management. I collect, analysed and interpreted data to contribute to the running of the financial organisation. Through this experience I was able to sharpen my skills in areas such as time management, team building and oral and written communication.My passion for sport turned my past time of watching football into a business.
