• Surveyed bat populations through mist-netting and acoustic recordings. Participated in the North American Bat Monitoring Program (NABat). Collected swab samples for White-nose fungus monitoring.

• Followed protocols in the Utah Prairie Dog Management Plan to conduct occupancy surveys and population counts of Utah prairie dogs (federally threatened species).
• Facilitated training to nine new technicians.
• Supervised crew for national Sylvatic plague research. Anesthetized, PIT tagged, and collected blood and hair samples on Utah prairie dogs.
• Assisted in trapping, handling, and relocating over 3,500 Utah prairie dogs from private to public lands. Monitored translocation sites for site retention and predator control.
• Performed ESA Section 7 consultation to determine Utah prairie dog occupancy. Monitored work crew to ensure compliance with avoidance and minimization measures.
• Participated in Dark kangaroo mouse study by conducting transects to trap, identify species, and take morphometric data on small mammals.

• Assisted in the Virgin River Program by monitoring native endangered and sensitive fish including Virgin river chub, Woundfin, and Virgin spinedace.
• Seined Virgin River to determine fish inventories; hoop netted for Virgin river chub; and electroshocked for Virgin spinedace to monitor recovery efforts.
• Performed mechanical removal efforts in the Virgin River Gorge to remove Red shiner and other non-native species. Chemically treated local reservoir using liquid Rotenone to remove Smallmouth bass.
• Office work entailed data entry into large databases, report writing, data analysis, data quality checks, and equipment maintenance and repair.

Costa Rica

• Designed enrichment programs for parrots, spider monkeys, river otter, and greater grison
