Used human-centered design as a framework to solve challenges greatly impacting poverty in the Bay Area through Tipping Point Community's T Lab. As a part of a team, researched the challenge of affordable, responsive child care for low-income families and designed and prototyped the Gma Village, a local child care service that provides a trustworthy, informal care option.

Collaborated on a research synthesis project examining the effects of the built environment on physical activity in older adults, resulting in a published article. Also participated in a national healthy cities and streets design charrette.
