Acquisition strategy was focused on protein therapeutics for oncology and inflammatory diseases.

Responsible for identifying and acquiring technology and clinical candidates, as well as, the out-licensing of IB-367, a protein therapeutic for oral mucositis, a side effect of chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

Responsible for the identification and acquisition of technologies to enhance the biotech research portfolio, the identification of technologies and the creation of business plans for the Hoechst’s Venture Fund, the development of internal biotechnology programs and the out-licensing of projects within the portfolio, which were not life science related.
