I am a physician with expertise in medical affairs in the pharmaceutical industry. After transitioning from clinical practice and medical administration in 2010, I began my career in pharma. I have held roles in medical safety, medical affairs, and clinical affairs. My experience includes global roles as well as U.S.-based roles.Over the course of my career, I have taken on increasing responsibility leading initiatives to increase efficiency and ensure alignment across functional areas, including medical affairs, commercial, market access, research and development and compound development teams.I have worked extensively, with cross-functional teams in highly matrixed environments. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams has enabled me to become a successful problem solver and strategist in medical affairs.One of my core competencies is building relationships with key opinion leaders and subject matter experts, both in the U.S. and globally, to gain valuable insights and perspectives on complex issues and novel approaches.
