I started my career in Law Enforcement in May of 1990 with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington DC. During my career there I was afforded the opportunity to gain many skiils such as Crime Scene Technician, K-9 Handler, Hazmat Technician and Diplomatic Protection while assigned to the Presidential Motorcade.. I also was promoted to the rank of sergeant in 1999 and retained the position as a frontline supervisor until my retirement in November 2016. In August of 2017 I was appointed as Chief Deputy with the Morgan County (WV) Sheriff's Department by Sheriff K. C. Bohrer. In this position I am second in command and also continue to train and work my Police Bloodhound.
