I'm a writer (fiction, non-fiction, scripts, copy), content creator, and teacher. I help people write. I love being instrumental in helping people get their meaningful stories and brilliant ideas onto the page and out into the world where they can make a difference and create change.I'm working on a novel and screenplay (Miranda's Garden), as well as a non-fiction book to support my signature Writing Through the Body method, which I teach in workshops and digital courses. I wrote and created content for four real estate-related websites.

I taught Popular Culture and academic research and argumentation through the University Studies Department at Portland State University. In addition to exposing students to the ways in which pop culture influences and dictates our perceptions of ourselves and each other by examining race, gender, class, sexual orientation, physical ability, and age through a feminist lens, I also taught them how to write structurally sound scholarly argumentative essays. I taught this course in an online format.

I taught Technical Writing with a focus on genre, rhetorical strategy, and ethics.

I wrote B2C and B2B short-form and long-form content for Vacasa's marketing, landing pages, vacation rental listings, city and destination pieces and articles for Discover Vacasa, as well as taglines and ad copy. I coordinated the 2009-2010 annual Student Literary Competition for the prestigious League for Innovation. It was an absolute privilege to work on this project, which allowed me to utilize my strengths: communication/managing people (hired judges, all of whom were well-known regional writers; supervised student-led and produced video interviews with judges; successfully executed contracts between Lane Community College and judges; and effectively communicated with 20 colleges across the U.S. and Canada to ensure students met submission deadlines), overseeing creative projects (supervised the conception, design, layout, and publishing of a website for the competition and a print anthology showcasing the winners' work); and managing budgets.
