I could tell you all my historical qualifications as a Machine Designer, Project Engineer, Salesperson, or Project Manager, but that wouldn’t say much about me besides my uncertainty about what I want to be when I grow up. Instead, let me tell you what’s important to know. My leadership style revolves around mentorship. I am committed to being the mentor that I desperately wanted and needed as I advanced in my own career. My mission is to provide guidance and support to help others succeed. I take satisfaction in transforming ‘challenging’ (but driven) employees who are eager to succeed. I understand the battles they face because I was once in their shoes. Having 1000 HP is a fantastic tool, but only if you know which direction to drive. It’s also vital to learn that brakes actually help performance when the inevitable obstacles are in front of you. Helping people discover and apply their unique skillset and potential can truly change their lives and the lives of those around them. I believe in the importance of continuous learning. Every day, I make an effort to learn from those in charge and those under my leadership. It is a humbling experience to realize how much there is to learn on a daily basis. This mindset keeps me motivated and open to new ideas and perspectives.Effective communication is the foundation of strong relationships. I firmly believe in tailoring my message to each specific audience, using language that resonates with them. While I may stumble in this area, I always keep in mind the saying, "It's not what you say, it's how you say it." This reminder guides me in delivering messages that are impactful and well-received.Managing my emotions and remaining composed while communicating in a group setting is something I continuously work on. Although it can be a challenge, I am committed to not letting my passion for a topic or viewpoint overshadow the message I want to convey.
