Responsible for global automotive financial services assets of over $100 billion. Operations included over 30 national companies in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. Key responsibilities included marketing and sales, retailer relationships, origination and servicing platforms, funding and borrowing operations, regulatory compliance and governmental relations.Led the organization through major restructurings and divestitures resulting from the challenges of the 2008-09 recession. These challenges resulted in actions/solutions for treasury, capital allocation, business strategy and relationships with governments and regulators.Highlights:Led the restructuring of Ford Credit NA to large scale service centers which achieved over $200 million of cost savings and improved process controls.Restructured the businesses in the international regions through targetted divestitures and implementing alternative business models.Established China operation which has evolved into a industry leader generating high quality assets and executing innovative borrowing programs.Comprehensive corporate governance experience through service on the Boards of Ford Motor Credit Company, FEC Bank,plc, FordDirect and other Ford affiliates.
