These include Decommissioning server racks and updating all relevant paperwork and applications to ensure high level of data is recorded at all times, Also a power redundancy conversion project within the DC which includes assisting in writing of MCMs and gathering data as well as helping power conversions and again updating all applications to track redundancy changes. • Follow procedures, track issues and complete the necessary tasks and documentation using the SIM trouble ticket system.• Keep documentation of all server racks that are powered to each bus-way or Power Distribution cabinet to track energy utilization and consumption to ensure that limits will not be exceeded. • Track Building Management System for alarms and inaccuracies• Work as part of a team to maintain and monitor data center rack systems responding to daily demands.• Installation and monitoring of various Data Center server racks to a specific SOP to meet or exceed SLA agreements. The main objective is to increase capacity and improve efficiencies in the data center.
