 Process international export orders for belting, parts, tools, and service to distributors and affiliates whose end users are worldwide and whose products include: paper, tobacco, poultry, baked goods, automotive industry, shipping and logistic applications, airport applications, wood plants, and multiple other industries that require quality belting, excellent service, and on time delivery. Communicate directly with customers in their native tongue, specifically Spanish, becoming the liaison between them and other departments within the organization (i.e. technical and application, shipping, accounting, marketing, and sales departments) Maintain and ensure that U.S Customs documentation was accurate and completed with a high level of accuracy to avoid fines and penalties due to error and/or oversight. Obtained quotes and coordinated shipments with freight forwarders Key team participant in the design and implementation of custom ERP software conversion from AS/400 to Epicor. Troubleshoot and tracking knowledge regarding lost shipments, damaged goods, misrouted freight, incorrect documentation, customs and tariff issues in order to avoid customs delay and/or seizure of goods. Excellent customer relations skills handling escalated shipping and billing issues with care and assisting the customer using proper procedures and policies in order to remedy and prevent future issues of the same nature. Host international customers for training. Also, provide data and reports for annual sales meetings, including presentation of data and translating to Spanish speaking individuals. Attend trade shows for the organization in order to translate and facilitate customer relations to Spanish speaking companies. Interim technical support specialist
