Oversee the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products. Manage work assignments in staffing, scheduling, coordinating, and planning of personnel engaged in manufacturing engineering activities. Recommend and implement new processes and recommend new policies or procedures as necessary. Establish and implement disciplined problem solving methodologies to achieve yield, efficiency, quality and process capability goals. Effectively manage key Manufacturing Engineering projects while achieving project scope, budget and schedule. Approves process specification and design standards. Prepares and controls departmental annual budget. Plan and establish engineering schedules and follow up performance against estimates. Supervise assembly of cost control and statistical data.

Manage manpower on the floor,schedule required coverage as needed for vacations, training, absent techs, and busy out of control down equipment conditions.Move technicians around as required to meet productions ever changing priorities.
