Manage and maintain case files; Assist IT Director in the L.A. office; Receive, scan, profile incoming documents; Assemble case materials for attorneys attending hearings and depositions; prepare outgoing mail and shipments, assist in preparing documents and exhibits for state and federal filing and service of parties, Assist with reception; coordinate with business partners/vendors (e.g. ABI, Nationwide, etc.); Administrative clerical duties including scanning, copying, etc.

Litigation paralegal for defense firm. Responsibilities of case work up, including working with associates, managing partners, trial attorneys and national counsel in assisting in lawsuits from inception through jury trial verdict; Facilitating coordination of filing and service of documents in state and federal jurisdictions; Building case information spreadsheets through receiving and analyzing vital case documents, including complaints, case reports, discovery responses and minute orders of court rulings; Preparing pleading and discovery templates for documents, including answer to complaint, discovery requests, deposition notices, expert designations, attorney declarations in support of motions, as well as post trial documents such as memorandum of costs; Performing legal research, including locating case citations, obtaining records, identifying deposition transcript testimony for page/line designations, retaining of expert witnesses; Corresponding with co-counsel, opposing counsel and all litigation support parties throughout cases.
