Development consultant helping retailers finding their new locations.In this role I was helping retailers with lease negotiations, building applications and the project management of shopfitting.

In the role as a head of Nordic contracts management I had responsibility for executing the brand and the building of stores in the Nordic area. The job was a vital part of the business development department where the goal was expanding Specsavers in the Nordic region. I have personally been responsible for more than 100 openings of stores all on time. I successfully negotiated prices on a Nordic level and found new suppliers with the right quality level. The role also included strategy for the department, implementing business development projects, budgets and people management. The role involved managing two project managers, a supply chain manager and a designer. I had a very motivated team created by an open atmosphere.

At Hoffmann Ejendomme I worked as a project development manager for one of their new housing projects of 42 new appartments in Vejle. I was responsible for producing sales and marketing material, optimization of the economy and negotating with laywers and realters. The project was cancelled and instead I became project development manager on a 124 housing project in Copenhagen. I was responsible for delivering the project to the buyers and ensure the handover.

I started as a Project Manager – trainee at IBI in Denmark for a department store. After half a year I was offered to move to Sweden to challenge myself and also get some international experience. After 3 month I became responsible for my first project as a project manager, which was an automobile inspection station. The rest of the time I was project managing retail projects up to 6000 m2 as a project developer and manager. I was managing the projects from signing of lease until opening the stores. The job included working with architechts, tennants and municipalities to get the project approved. I was responsible for the production of tender documents, negotiation with contractor, final contract and the construction site. At the end of each project I was ensuring maintenance agreements for the buildings. I delivered all project under budget and all opened on time.Working with IBI inspired me to work more with project development and retail.
