Six month consulting role for the City of Kenmore and ARCH in preparation of building an affordable housing apartment development by 2026. Directly involved in weekly meetings with Kenmore team to discuss project details. Assisting in the RFP process including editing the request, scoring responses, meeting with developers and selecting a project. Researching the history of housing discrimination and unaffordability in Puget Sound region to explain the need for affordable housing. This research supplemented funding strategies and recommendations in a report to city council and the public. Brief presentation of team research to Kenmore City Council for final development approval.
