I'm a current junior at the College of Charleston Honors College. I'm seeking bachelor's degrees in finance and computer science. I'm the Director of Quantitative Strategies for the CofC School of Business's Investment Society. There, I develop and implement systematic techniques for predicting stock price performance based on fundamental, technical, and macroeconomic factors. I also pitch stocks in the healthcare sector and work on case studies about various financial topics that I present to industry professionals.Last summer, I worked as a commercial real estate intern at Westpark Capital, LLC. This role taught me more about practical accounting skills, data management, and salesmanship. I created reconciliations for multiple tenants, completed technical projects with large datasets, and presented reports on commercial properties to company management.I work in the CofC's writing lab, offering drop-in services on effective writing strategies, citation styles, and rhetorical analysis, and as treasurer for CofC's Sigma Nu fraternity chapter, where I practice financial management and budgeting.I participate in numerous organizations on campus, including the Charleston Fellows, a scholarship-based society bringing together honors students from across fields of study to facilitate community impact, and Mortar Board, a group of scholars dedicated to helping others.I plan to use my education to advance my career into portfolio management or quantitative development. I enjoy learning and see myself as a lifelong student, constantly seeking to improve my knowledge and skills and to find intersections between the various subjects I take interest in. I believe that such an interdisciplinary educational approach will keep me well-rounded and able to offer unique perspectives.Outside of the classroom, I'm an Eagle Scout who enjoys camping and hiking, playing piano and guitar, and traveling internationally.
