Johnny B is a cinematographer, film editor, innovator, entrepreneur and a qualified teacher of all film aspects including grading. He is an expert broadcast consultant helping companies produce their TV programmes, documentaries, TV adverts, and cinema films.Johnny is currently mentoring the very talented actress and singer Lauren Harris.Johnny regularly consults on everything from cinema cameras to full studio design, having just finished designing and building a full TV production system for a Premier League football club. Johnny has worked with many major broadcasters and film companies such as SKY, NBC, Warner Bros, National Geographic, BT Sports, Disney, BBC, Channel 4. Netflix.Working in the music industry for over 40 years, Johnny began his career filming bands promos for a record company. He then went onto filming rock band Def Leppard for a decade and 17 years with the legendary Iron Maiden filming their tours, editing their videos, authoring, designing & replicating their DVDs, Blu-rays and concert movies (culminating in their Cinema film “Flight 666)He has now filmed over 1000 concerts for dozens of bands, in over 70 countries as well as editing both adverts and programmes for Apple, Mercury Records, Phonogram, British Airways, EMI, John Smiths, Boots, Sky Arts, MTV, Eizo, Thomas Cook, Benneton, Coca Cola, Timothy Taylor etc. Johnny works, hand in hand, with the world’s renown film directors, musicians, actors, editors, casting directors, animators, technicians, sound & lighting engineers, wardrobe & production managers, security experts, promoters, venue owners, cameramen, data wranglers, freighters, trucking teams, private airlines, as well as the MD's of worldwide movie studios.
