Combining blow molding and injection molding, company was able to launch very lucrative licensing program that is still going strong 20 years later.• Minimized tooling costs in process of redesigning existing line of air pumps. With efficient reorganization of internal components, company was able to produce smaller air pump with significant reduction in weight and plastic use.• Devised improved mechanism for fish food dispenser. Completely redesigned mechanism in very short time and within constraints of existing product. In less than three weeks, made samples and tested new components. 20 years later, product is still available.• Reduced manufacturing and shipping costs for existing product. Designed new closure system which eliminated need for ultrasonic welding. Company was able to increase production rate while reducing packaging.
