Working in Public Relations has given me the opportunity to explore so much of what inspires and drives me. Through PR, I've been able to work alongside organizations I believe in and make a difference for communities both in my city of Chicago and across the country. I've had the chance to explore new passions in the animal health and conservation spaces, assisting with various communications projects for zoos, aquariums and conservation/nature organizations. I define my job not necessarily by what each day consists of, but the goals I'm striving toward, both personally and on behalf of my clients. I enjoy working with a purpose of making the world a better place in some form or another.I am a people person, and I thrive if given the opportunity to get creative and think outside the box when determining media tactics and strategies. I manage a wide variety of projects and maintain solid relationships with both national and local media contacts. I have experience in high-level strategic communications and crisis management and am always looking for new ways to grow and hone my skills. As I continue my career, I hope to continue working for causes in which I truly believe.
