During the 3-month placement, I got great exposure to the vehicle infotainment systems, architectures, communication networks and diagnostics. I worked as part of a team responsible for the software build and hardware component maintenance of infotainment test vehicles. This included: software updates; diagnostic snapshots and analysis; Vector CANalyzer logging; fault injection testing for quality and fleet management system (FMS) issues.
