Also serves as a software development outsourcing unit to several state agencies including the California Dept. of Education, Dept. of Health Services, the Governor’s Office, California Community Chancellor’s Office, California Dept. of Correction and Rehabilitation, WestEd, State Board of Education, and more.

A small startup in the San Francisco Bay Area that pioneered the development of the world’s second payment gateway (after CyberCash), but the first payment gateway (and only at the time) to introduce Geo IP technology and security algorithms for detection and flagging of fraudulent or suspicious online credit card transactions. YBO had also developed the world’s first platform that supported multiple merchants on a single hosted SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) model, even before the phrase “SaaS” was coined. This model allowed small businesses to sell online at a fraction of the costs and with no technical knowledge, compared a other online payment gateways at the time.
