Hope Evangelical Presbyterian Church Memphis has a long history of helping those in need when disaster strikes. These could be floods, tornados, hurricanes and wind storms, etc. Typically, our response involved a heavy investment during the first (1st) wave of 30 days providing food, clothing and shelter. Often joining hands with the Red Cross, Samaritan Purse and other Disaster Relief Agencies. However, our revised goal, is to put the lion’s share of investment into the second (2nd) wave of post 30 days to ensure that displaced victims can return to structurally sound and renovated properties. This new effort will also coordinate our recovery efforts across other networks of influence, overseeing and empowering the local churches in a given disaster area.

I provided executive level leadership and management support, assisting with the development and execution of long-term strategies. I managed the Project HOPE Fund and provided support to the global partners through the holistic development of sustainable projects. Selected achievements included:• Led a successful campaign to raise $1M with $190,000 being raised to date to support sustainable projects with ministry partners in Africa and South America.• Effectively developed and executed strategic and financial plans to kept records in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.• Inspired and encouraged volunteer participation in all areas of the organization.

Hope Presbyterian Church is an EPC Church based in Cordova, TN. My role is to manage ministries, staff, volunteers and projects while maintaining a Christian focus that encourages discipleship.Senior Manager• Provide management and oversight for the Caring, Recovery and Global Outreach Ministries at Hope. Manage a staff of 12, several hundred volunteers while monitoring projects around the globe for Global Outreach.Hope's Global Outreach • We currently serve alongside 34 partners in 10 countries. Kenya, Uganda, Belize, Mexico, Haiti, Ecuador, Spain, Germany as well as domestic partners in NYC. Global Outreach sends over 300 members and non-members on short term mission trips to support these partners by building relationship and creating sustainability models that work in their context. • Monitored and managed multiple Global Outreach projects in collaboration with 34 partners in 10 different countries worldwide.• Established an Executive Global Committee to assist with the management of 12 Country Coordinators.• Substantially grew missions’ budget by 20% over a period of 5 years.• Approved the selection of short-term mission trip destinations and trip leaders to support Global Outreach partners and projects.• Grew short-term missions’ teams from 6 per year to more than 15 per year.• Identified, recruited and trained several hundred volunteer workers.Director of Caring • To serve alongside a Diaconate of 93 ordained deacons, 54 Stephen's Ministers, and a prayer team of 24 to provide support to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge.Director of Recovery• Work with our Recovery pastor to develop leaders to maintain and grow this ministry. Establish leadership training for lay support group leaders. Hope currently provides 42 recovery and support groups that meet weekly and bi-weekly.

Establish Transportation Division for Memphis Warehouse & Distribution Company in business since 1934. I was charged with establishing a $1.5M transportation division, generation of new business and increasing revenues. Other achievements include:• Successfully generated $100,000 in brokerage revenue during the first quarter with the company.• Achieved an extraordinary 500% increase in growth within the first year which led to an actual revenue of $3.9M for 2012 and $7M within 2 years.• Directed successful fulfillment of two warehouse projects which had a combined revenue of $1.8M.• Instrumental in rebranding an asset-based carrier and expanding company from 4 trucks and 4 drivers to 35 trucks and 50 drivers over 18 months.• Planned and executed dynamic business strategies this included the merger and acquisition of a $6M aggregate transportation division and $1M asset-based carrier for local and regional deliveries. • Closed major high-profile accounts including Bed, Bath & Beyond, Masonite & Werner which resulted in a 10.7% gross profit.• Effectively developed client base to $7M with the first 2 years

• Responsible for establishing Truck Services Division created to enhance focus on corporate truckload brokerage. Grew division to more than $16 million in revenue in first 4 years though aggressive sales plan working with agent based and corporate account leads.• Successfully steer National Account Development operations to generate high volume growth and revenue. • Develop National Strategy to support new business development for Corporate and 35 agent offices.

• Oversaw establishment of Memphis office for Carrier Services Division.• Served as Business Development & Operations Manager in growing company office from startup to more than $8M revenue in first 4 years. Maintaining more than 20% annual growth.• Oversaw the Business Development & Operations of the Indianapolis $6 million, Dallas and Atlanta offices.• Effectively hired, trained and directed 8 staff members, actively collaborating in Human Resource operation functions including performance evaluations and employee guidance and mentoring.• Actively collaborated with Corporate Executives in Transportation, Warehousing and Logistics to expand business and boost bottom-line profitability.
