After 20 years of successful sales and marketing leadership roles, I became co-owner of a technology advisory firm that created a one-of-a-kind offering in our industry. This allowed me to focus on that special place where passion, talent, and the ability to make the largest organizational impact all intersect. With strong design thinking and the willingness to commit to a true strategy, I lead the transformation of our company, with a clear and powerful business model, and a unique value proposition to our Clients. Within a 5-year period, revenues at the company increased by 3.5x and drove close to a 4x increase in valuation, with a successful exit in Oct of '23.I acted in a post-acquisition Consulting role until April of '24, and am currently thinking through how and where to apply what I've learned over the past few decades (read as: deciding what I want to be when I grow up). I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Greater Nashville Technology Council (NTC), on the Advisory Board for the NTC Emerging Leaders in Tech and Engineering Program, and as an advisor at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. I’m working on my first of several keynotes, and plan on entering public speaking. One topic that has been central in my life is the Imposter Syndrome. I’m writing a book that I hope is a unique addition to the conversations around Imposter Syndrome; the working title is 'The Damage Advantage' ©. I will also be co-hosting The Impodsters™ a podcast on all things Imposter Syndrome, set to launch in late 2024.
