I am a recent Computer Science graduate from California State University Long Beach with a strong passion for software development. Throughout my academic journey, I have honed my skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Golang, Python, React, and various web technologies. I am now eager to apply my knowledge and contribute to a company's success in an entry-level software engineering role.During my time at Paper Birch, I collaborated closely with a team of developers to deliver a modular calendar platform. Using agile methodologies, we streamlined the management of 300+ annual bookings and enhanced the client experience with instant availability. I also engineered an automated system for transactional email dispatch, saving the company an average of 8 minutes per inquiry.I have a strong track record of developing impactful projects. I developed Toasty, a scalable video sharing platform using Google Cloud technologies including Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Firestore, and Firebase Auth. I implemented a video processing pipeline using Cloud Run and ffmpeg to transcode videos into multiple formats for streaming. Additionally, I co-developed Waste Food Tracker, a food management app to minimize food waste using React Native and Firebase, creating a user-friendly recipe search feature based on ingredients leveraging the Spoonacular API, which enhanced recipe usage and optimized meal planning for more than 50 users.My technical skills are complemented by my ability to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly, and solve complex problems.
