John has been working in healthcare for 15 years since qualifying as a Physiotherapist. He's held roles as National Employee and Customer Experience Manager for one of Australia's largest allied health organisations, General Manager in the Aged, Disability and Community Care space, Business Development and more recently as the EGM Global Marketing and Community Engagement in the health technology space.John is passionate about growing successful health businesses and teams through a unique combination of EX, CX, Communications and Marketing strategy, and founded O'Brien Consultancy in 2024 to support the wider allied health network.He has a track record of working with small healthcare teams to grow them rapidly, whilst maintaining the quality of services and high retention rate of team members. John has founded successful allied health organisations, grown small healthcare teams from just a handful of people to 100+, as well as developed the systems, processes and innovative strategies for sustainable success.He loves helping other founders and senior leaders to achieve their business goals, as well as thrive on a personal level, and brings a unique approach of professionalism, practicality and enjoyment to every project.Based in Newcastle, Australia and enjoying working with like-minded people across the Hunter and Central Coasts regions, as well as remotely with healthcare legends globally.
