Worked as a lecturer in health education, then for HM Foreign Office as Attaché to Sir George Lisle Clutton, British Ambassador in Warsaw, Poland.Following his retirement I went into academic and educational book publishing, working for McGraw-Hill, Macmillan, Tanzania Publishing House (where I was Managing Director in the final two years before its nationalisation, and adviser on book publishing to UNESCO and President Julius Nyerere), and Ahmadu Bello University Press, Nigeria (Senior Editor and Acting Director).In 1996 I joined Glen White and Andrew Schofield in the newly founded Conquest Business Media, launching and editing Industry Review (later British Industry) and The Manufacturer. At Schofield Media I did the same job on Venture, Foodchain, US Business Review and other magazines. After a spell as editor of Roadway I teamed up again with Glen White in 2006 to launch the Exec online magazines and business portal (now Bizclik Media) , and grow these globally.I have interviewed in depth hundreds of high profile CEOs, Cabinet ministers, entrepreneurs and investors, written countless leading articles on business, economic and lifestyle issues and published more than 1,000 profiles of UK, USA, European and global companies.Specialties: Communications, networking, interviewing, writing, web and search engine optimisation, PR and all topics relevant to business.
