I design all of custom software such as CRMs and ERPs for the multiple clients that contract the design and development of custom internal tools to Skillz Systems.

I am passionate about design but realize that not many people are taught these skills the correct way; which is a deliberate 1-on-1 mentorship style of tutoring. Being also heavily influenced by the use of technology, I co-founded Sage Academy with a mission to use personalized mentorship within a vibrant community to nurture the next generation of designers, software developers, and social media marketers.As a co-founder of Sage Academy, I have collaborated with other like minds to build an online school that blends mentorship focused learning and community. We have now Successfully guided and mentored the premier cohort of 21 talented designers. Witnessing their growth and achievements has been immensely rewarding. As a mentor at Sage Academy, I have the privilege of working closely with students, sharing my expertise, and helping them reach their full potential. I believe in the power of personalized guidance and mentorship to drive meaningful learning experiences.

As a co-design lead at a growing fintech organization, I am generally saddled with system architecture designs, user experience flow designs, and interface designs.I have collaborated in strategy and designed BioPay, a Payment gateway solution similar to Paystack, to be used by customers who use any of our designed products.I constantly collaborate with the C-suite, engineers, and compliance officers to design custom products for multiple state governments that use Veripay, Revotax, and OneId, which are our payment solutions to process multiple payments like deductions, salaries, pensions, and gratuities for their staff.

As a Product Team Lead at GET, I have had to put together a team that is functioning together toward building a product that aims to drive the future of the urban logistics industry. In my capacity as Team lead and Design lead, I am constantly fine-tuning the actual realities of getting optimal value from a completely remote team of Designers, Engineers, and business associates. Some of my main responsibilities include product vision and strategy, Product design and design direction and research, Remote collaboration, and Task-time-based method of Product Management. At the product level, we are presently focused on pushing out the beta version of a web-based platform that will allow users predominantly in a specific region to make or receive dispatch deliveries within that metropolitan area. The premiere version will be on the web in November 2023, and will quickly aim to dominate that dispatch business through an open platform strategy.

As a product designer, my core strengths include defining the problem to be solved, proposing the correct solution for users and stakeholders, detailing out product requirements, determining the product creation process and finally designing the final solution.I enjoy getting lost in visual design.I focus a lot of initial energy on defining the correct problem and specifying it, because I also enjoy starting at the very beginning. Design to me, is just as non-visual as it is visual. Therefore, if problems are not properly defined using first principles thinking and user research, it is very easy to build a solution to the wrong problem.Proposing the correct solution to a problem takes skill and an acute love for simplifying things to make them easy. I do this when I describe the solution and all its parts, after carrying out both stakeholder and user research, before I start any form of visual design. The best part is, I get the rare human priviledge to employ all these skills and abilities to create world class products everyday. I am indeed blessed.
