Oversee the core business functions and day-to-day operations for a firm of 180 lawyers and staff across 7 locations in 5 states. Serve as a key strategic partner to the Shareholders and Executive Committee in developing firm strategy and business initiatives, and report to these groups on progress and firm performance. Business planning and implementation of best practices for information systems, finance and accounting, risk management, office administration, facilities, conflicts/business intake, and human resources. Serve on the Managing Partner Committee to bridge the gap between the lawyers and the administrative departments / staff.

Responsible for all aspects of technology for the firm from network design and management to end user desktop support. Built the department from 2 consultants to a full time staff of 5 with expertise in helpdesk / tech support, network administration, data security and user training. Significant project management experience ranging from network and server upgrades to office moves to desktop operating system and software upgrades. Functioned as a hands-on well-rounded manager by planning and budgeting technology projects, as well as performing significant work in the server room and at the desktop level.

Provided front line helpdesk and technical support to 180 lawyers and staff in 2 office locations. Worked closely with the Director of Information Services to ensure the firm’s technology initiatives and goals were met. Implemented software firm wide including timekeeping, document management and desktop faxing. Wrote training manuals and quick reference guides, and developed / delivered firm wide training programs for these initiatives. Provided computer training to all new attorneys and staff. Maintained inventory of all computer equipment.
