Joined McConkey in 2005 - Fresh out of school and armed with the full extent of my knowledge about insurance being "premiums are what I pay to the insurance company to be able to keep driving my car, right?"Looking back - I never did like paying those bills. Especially when (despite more speeding tickets than I'd like to admit) I never had any claims. Just felt like a waste each time I wrote a check. Since then have been fortunate to learn a lot more about insurance. Have studied for insurance designations (CIC, CRM, AAI, CPIA) and have had plenty of real life, on the job training. Fully appreciate the benefits it brings to individuals, businesses, and society at large when structured properly. BUT..... to this day I still see plenty of companies who feel stuck like my 22 year old self; continually paying for insurance and barely using it. Who feel like the arbitrage between their premiums and claims is just helping someone on wall street buy another jet. We can help.
