John is a passionate and result-oriented social entrepreneur and educator who aims to democratize access to quality education and skills for vulnerable communities. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, where he has excelled academically and extracurricularly, winning multiple national and international awards and honors.He is the CEO and cofounder of Foris Labs, a gamified 3D virtual science laboratory brand that employs the power of the metaverse to supercharge the learning journey of science students in Nigeria. Under his leadership, Foris Labs has grown to be one of the top three edtech startups in Nigeria, according to the Global Edtech Startup Awards in 2021, and has secured multiple grants and partnerships from prestigious organizations. He also cofounded Stemnovo Ng, a STEM education company that empowers young creatives in rural and semi-urban communities in southeastern Nigeria by equipping them with coding, robotics, and entrepreneurship skills. He has extensive experience in project planning and management, grant writing, and business development, which he applies to his ventures and his volunteer work with non-profits that align with his vision and values.
