Clárú is a new Irish company based in Cork leveraging Blockchain Technology to demonstrate the provenance of Irish food products. Clárú are using Blockchain technology to capture and securely store data from the production process “from farm to fork“ and make it easily accessible to the consumer. This demonstrates the uniqueness of the food products and production process and allows the consumer to develop a strong sense of trust and loyalty in the product and the producer’s brand.

Managing a global team in the development and delivery of Enterprise ready Mobile Apps on multiple platforms using native and x-platform development tools. Defined and enforced the adoption of mobile development best practices. Initiated training and mentoring programs to accelerate the adoption of mobile development best practices allowing strategic delivery of a number of business supporting apps to over 30,000 mobile users. Responsible for defining and instigating QA processes using manual and automated checks to realise improvements in code quality. Built strategic partnerships with vendors to ensure a flexible and agile delivery model to support growing business demand for mobile development. Collaborated with the business in all aspects of the development of mobile apps to ensure the development of most effective and efficient mobile solutions. Collaborating with EMC’s Office of Architecture and Innovation to regularly review new mobile technologies for use within EMC.

Managed EMC IT’s Mobility program to introduce Mobility to the Enterprise and “to deliver a rich user experience from anywhere, at any time, on a wide choice of Mobile devices”. Collaborated with key stakeholders across EMC to capture requirements and develop a Mobility Roadmap to deliver strategic solutions. Initiated the EMC IT’s first internal Beta Test Program, enrolling 300+ BYO and corporately owned mobile devices from participants across the organization to trial new mobile apps and technologies. Successfully marketed the Beta test program on internal websites, subsequently being awarded the Most Popular Blog award in September 2012. Project managed the implementation of internal WIFI solution to address issues with iOS authentication onto internal WIFI. Initiated and led the Mobile Connectivity 2.0 initiative to investigate and design a longer term connectivity approach for Mobile Users. Received Platinum Award in recognition of Leadership shown in driving team to complete several successful App Releases.Completed due diligence on a number of market leading Mobile Device Management solutions, successfully completing a proof of concept to validate the chosen solution, ensuring it met EMC’s requirements. Implementation of new Exchange 2007 environment with capacity for 64k mailboxes and the associated migration of 45k user mailboxes onto an all new virtual infrastructure.
