As President, Amway Markets, John works with Amway Independent Business Owners and employees around the world. He has responsibility for all Amway markets (ex China) globally. In a career spanning over three decades with the company, John has also served as Region President, Chief Sales Officer, President of Amway Japan, Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Amway North America. John is an advocate for the direct selling industry around the world having served 2 terms as Chairman of the U.S. Direct Selling Association and an additional 4 years as Chairman of the Direct Selling Education Foundation. He previously served on the Advisory Board of the Richard M & Helen DeVos Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Grand Valley State University. He is also a past member of the Advisory Board for College of Business at Ferris State University. He has a bachelor of business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Notre Dame, where he was a member of the varsity golf team.
