John has a diverse background with experience in public and private sectors. He has worked for large, multi-national corporations, and is also an experienced entrepreneur. As a licensed Professional Engineer, John started his career as a design engineer for large subway projects. He became a business manager overseeing complex, multi-year construction projects throughout the US and South America. In 1999, John started a private consulting practice focused on city development with public/private financing for transportation and integrated real estate development as a focus. A parent of two, John has is active in education policy and was named a 2012 Bingham Fellow, working on measures to improve educational attainment through community engagement.As a Co-Founder of LockUpLead, John has led the company through the development and startup phase, establishing intellectual property protection, mass production, and nationwide distribution for LockUpLead. He has become a strong advocate for common-sense measures to combat the #1 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH RISK TO CHILDREN resulting in ADHD, IQ loss, and other severe health and cognitive impairments. John has presented to national trade conferences, and spoken nationwide with advocates, parents, researcher, and government officials from mayor's offices to the White House on the need to educate parents and enforce safe lead practices in all cases (e.g. demolition, renovation and repair, and home cleaning).
