Responsible for the successful launch of a market leading Australian media monitoring company into the UK, working with an amazing Founder of the business and the talented Australian support team.The company has now been acquired by Cision.With the Streem platform being adopted by FTSE 100 and leading brands for their media monitoring, the scale up phase was mothballed due to the pandemic.There were a number of very interesting stages and learnings before the launch which included:* market analysis to identify the potential of the UK market and the competitive landscape* localisation of the platform to handle both UK and European requirements* pre-selling of the localised platform to litmus test the appetite of the target corporationsThe Streem platform was identified as unique in the market for a number of reasons:* realtime delivery of media items - within minutes of publication* power of the platform - analytics and reporting* ease of use of the platform - self serve so no need to ask your account manager to assistMy greatest personal learning from this project was being able to work remotely and unsupervised for long periods whist maintaining focus, energy and motivation.
