John Paul studied architecture at De Montfort University and Kingston University where he gained his Diploma in Architecture with Distinction in 1993 for his studio based design work and written thesis. An award with distinction had not previously been granted by the school since 1988. During his education John Paul was also nominated for the RIBA Lovell Memorial Trust Award and participated in Erasmus and Tempus academic exchange programmes with the Belas – Artes de Lisboa School of Architecture, Portugal and the Technical University of Brno/Municipality of Brno in the Czech Republic. John Paul has practiced architecture and urban design in Europe in the offices of Joseph Paul Kleihues and Studio Daniel Libeskind and in the United Kingdom in the offices of MacCormac Jamieson Prichard, Branson Coates Architecture, PRP, John Thompson & Partners and BDP where he was a senior associate for 2 years responsible for the design of several large scale mixed use urban regeneration and masterplanning schemes. Prior to this John Paul has been involved with the design of a number of smaller, individual building types including residential, education, retail and office projects as well as industrial conversion and listed building refurbishment and extension within a conservation area.John Paul has also acted as invited critic at the Kingston and London Southbank University Schools of Architecture in the United Kingdom.John Paul is an ARB registered architect and a RIBA chartered member.I welcome contact requests from clients, associated professionals and relevant industry product & service suppliers.Specialties: Architecture, Urban Design
