Lead the Direct Materials, MRO & Factored Goods categories for Working Capital reduction project. Key aspects of this project were managing the concern of internal stakeholders, by providing regular reports and meetings, conducting supplier negotiations either with or without the permanent Category Managers, providing director level reporting and finally implementing the payment terms changes in conjunction with the outsourced service provider, dealing with supplier issues when they arose.

VC firm who had acquired Readers Digest UK wanted an overall assessment of its procurement function with opportunities for cost reduction. I gathered spend data for various categories of addressable spend,produced Pareto analysis and undertook benchmarking exercises in order to scope potential cost reductions. Produced presentation for VC Board identifying cost reduction opportunities and areas for improvement
