In my current role as Humana’s Associate Director, I have been key in building both the strategic and tactical plan for the Third Party Cyber Risk Management team. This has included the budget planning of capital investments, management of internal teams and external professional services, and deployment of SaaS products to automate efforts. My career path allows me to offer a unique blend of consultant, cyber SME, and negotiator. Through this blend, I am uniquely situated with technical knowledge, security expertise, regulatory acumen, and established consulting habits to provide Technology leadership.Having been a critical member of an industry leading team from its inception, I've demonstrated leadership skill and strategic acumen.Establish cross-functional knowledge across all security domains through third party reviews and build out of third party assurance programs.Use negotiation and leadership skills with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering a "how can we say, 'yes!'" strategy. Enable the business to make strategic decision through risk analysis helping to ensure uptime of critical systems and processes supported by Humana's third party environment.As a result, I can translate technology terms and needs to the business but also apply reasonable business priorities to the technology teams. And I can unite both sides under the common vision.
