Oversee and coordinate all student assessment opportunities including state-mandated assessments and our individual progress monitoring assessments (NWEA). This includes preparing, scheduling, implementing, and follow-up on all assessment-related tasks for faculty, staff, families, and students:* Develop and implement trainings and professional development opportunities for faculty as it relates to assessment implementation and data analyzation* Serve as the liaison between principal and staff in analyzing, identifying, and reporting trends in student performance * Engage with the RtI/ MTSS team and teachers to assist in developing differentiated instructions for those at-risk students * Communicate with families regarding their child's performance and suggestions for improvement * Keep current on legislative bills and communicate with appropriate personnel as required regarding changes to state bills and laws that affect assessmentOversee our site's teacher evaluation tool to fairly assess teacher performance:* Revised our school’s teacher evaluation system to assure compliance with state mandates while ensuring a system that best measures our teachers’ performance fairly and equitably* Responsible for the annual and semi-annual evaluations of approximately 20-25 faculty members (teachers)* Assist said teachers (above) in developing and maintaining individual growth plans used for professional growth and part of their overall evaluation scores Establish and maintain professional relationships with third party vendors:* Partnered with NWEA to present at the 2014 Charter School Conference in Orlando on the importance of assessment and data collection * Partnered with the University of South Florida to present at the 2012-13 National Association for Professional Development Schools in Las Vegas on the development of collaborative relationships in education
