Monadelphous on Inpex’s - Ichthys LNG Project in Darwin. Responsibility included designing 'administrative control permits' for the working parties in regard to their scope of work. I was elected as the site Health & Safety Representative for the power station facilities.My position reflected the values, ethics, and standards held by Monadelphous. My duties included pre-commissioning and quality assurances/quality control (QA/QC), installation of hazardous area equipment, and electrical systems, and site-wide maintenance of diesel generators and demountable offices. My work scope involved identifying uncompleted areas. This is critically important forfinalising the commissioning of the client's LNG plant.

Schneider Electric / DESA involved the position of Leading Hand in the construction, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation equipment for the new Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH), Crawley, Nedlands in Western Australia. My responsibilities included coordinating a team of five employees.The hospital's electrical and mechanical design systems are highly regarded and are in place to utilise greenhouse energy, communications, instrument monitoring for fire emergencies, and air conditioning control to extract dangerous smoke from within the building during fire emergencies.Schneider Electric was responsible for the essential and non-essential instrumentation and monitoring of the hospital. My duties included dispensing inventory and coordinating priority jobs amongst the workgroup.

Electrical Instrumentation Technician for Anglogold - Ashanti on the newly commissioned Tropicana gold mine in the Goldfields, Western Australia. Responsibilities centered on the calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and maintaining general electrical distribution.These included cyanide analysers, particle size indicators, nuclear density gauges, moisture analysers, and transmitters of all varieties that are operated by Allan Bradley PLC/DCS control systems. I am SAP trained and experienced to manage asset accounting, warehouse materials, plant maintenance, and implementing quality management systems.

Hazardous areas inspections for the Esperance Port Sea & Land Marine Petroleum Offloading Facility.This position required knowledge of electrical equipment rated for explosion prevention within the confines of a flammable gas/liquid or dust atmosphere where electricity exists. Maintenance action was required to replace lighting and electrical cable that had deteriorated and failed to comply with OH&S standards.

This position was at the end of the construction phase of Hope Downs 4 Project on behalf of Rio Tinto. During this time, I assisted with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) and pre-commissioning of the installation. Being part of a QA/QC team involved sound knowledge of electrical schematics (electrical diagrams and engineer drawings), procedures, and skills required to deliver the handover of the installation to our client.

Clough AMEC contracting to Woodside’s FPSOs (off-shore). My position provided support for the instrumentation and electrical systems onboard the FPSO vessels. I was inducted by Woodside Energy Pty Ltd and have a clear understanding of what protocols are expected whilst onboard their off-shore vessels.The safety of personnel is paramount, along with strict adherence to operating procedures and company requirements. I have completed Woodside's permit training and shown an understanding of the procedures with practical application. I was responsible for the revalidation and relinquishment of permits with myself as the ‘’Permit Performing Authority’’.

My roster involved working 26 days on/9 days off roster on Chevron’s - Gorgon LNG Project, Barrow Island, Western Australia.My key responsibilities were maintenance and service of the electrical and instrumentation at the desalination R.O. (Reverse Osmosis) potable water, wastewater plant, and general electrical maintenance site/island-wide. My scheduled work at the R.O (Reverse Osmosis) and wastewater facility required a fluent understanding of the plant process operations.Allen Bradley was the installed PLC and DCS system we were required to maintain and calibrate, whilst having exposure to Yokogawa and Endress & Hauser instrumentation. The power on-site / the island was operated by diesel generator power. I was fortunate to gain extensive maintenance experience with various makes and models of generators.
