A side-venture to realize additional income utilizing my marketing/design experience by creating spirit wear and uniforms for local companies and athletic teams. Achieved gross sales of approximately $100,000 in the first 18 months of operation.

After my position was eliminated at LHP due to restructuring in 2013, I continued to advise the company on marketing strategies and execute new and ongoing projects as a consultant, ultimately resulting in my re-hire as a full-time employee after the company’s financial position recovered in 2014. I continue to work with other companies as a Marketing Consultant, providing strategic plans, graphic design execution, and copywriting services for logos, videos, and social media.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

Served on internal/external team developing new company name, logo, messaging, and website for engineering services firm with increasing global presence. Working closely with new divisions to launch new products, including leading or participating in the naming process, logo development, and creation of marketing materials such as spec sheets, software icons, and sales videos. Working closely on expansion of LHPU line of business into new markets with new products, including e-learning.

Provided input and reported on relevant company issues and initiatives at weekly management team meetings. Co-led a strategic marketing messaging initiative in which I was responsible for collecting input from approximately 20 employees, distilling and condensing the information into common themes, and writing the company’s top-level and tiered messages targeted to external and internal audiences – all based on a process and timeline I developed. Created the brand strategy and generated marketing materials for LHPU, a start-up training division of LHP.
