On a cold February morning in 6th grade I was surprised to be called to the principal's office. It turns out my family was pulling me from school, and I was about to discover my passion for self-directed learning and community building. After a few years given free rein to purse my own wide-ranging interests, I thrived in unique institutions that emphasized peer dialogue, practical application, and servant leadership. From helping build a greenhouse and mediating disputes at boarding school, to founding student governance programs while studying psychology at Naropa University, to conducting a community stakeholder analysis during my studies in organizational development at Antioch University Seattle, my training and drive is to work with and for people to make a meaningful difference in our communities and organizations. My achievements include founding a non-profit organization and a private coaching practice, delivering a range of client-centered projects, and leading teams to do the same in property management and high tech. I am especially proud of the many events I've organized throughout, from officiating 5 weddings to hosting 300-person rooftop parties, leading interactive virtual workshops to facilitating strategic planning sessions. I am honored to have recently accepted a position with City of Tulsa's Office of Community Development. I couldn't be happier to have been given this opportunity to apply my energy and talents towards affecting positive people-centered change at the local level. I welcome invitations to connect around common subjects of interest and to develop partnerships on behalf of communities here in the City of Tulsa.
