About John Pike

Senior technologist with success leading talented teams in the design and development of commercial software products and enterprise business systems. I have led teams of 10-120 staff over the past 20 years. Most recently I have been leading modernization efforts from legacy to cloud-native systems. I got my start as a developer, eventually building web-based systems with Objective-C and Java in the late ‘90s. I was fortunate to be mentored by some leading Object-Oriented technologists and as my career progressed into leadership roles those early lessons in architectural rigor, abstract analysis and software best practices have been invaluable. The best part of my job is the opportunity to white-board with teams to help them visualize the right architecture and design to solve difficult problems. I have proven to be especially adept at translating organizational strategy into easily digestible problem sets that my teams pursue with a passion.
