Oncology Information System Engineer
CurrentInstall, configure, and test Elekta software and associated third-party software and equipment in support of customer expectations and Elekta revenue goals. Generate installation and technical documentation for new Elekta products while in the beta phase of development. Maintain assigned Software Installation Procedures (SIPs) and associated Technical References (TRFs)Complete remote and on-site upgrades in support of customer expectations and Elekta marketing and service goals. Successful completion includes good communication with the upgrade team, prompt attention to upgrade checklists, and adherence to Elekta’s established upgrade procedures (e.g. documenting status in Clientele, completing upgrade documentation, updating spreadsheet, returning packing slip if necessary, etc.)Successfully provide third-party installation and technical services (i.e. hardware installations, MetaFrame installations, etc.) as part of Elekta’s Service options. Successful completion includes adherence to established policies and procedures. Prepare for and deliver assigned courses. Document continuing education credits following written procedures. Originate assigned session goals, objectives, and outlines for continuing education credit evaluation. Prepare presentation and participant materials. Deliver advertised session. Participate actively in the support and training of new staff and others as required.
