My coursework at Le Moyne college was broadly focused on Finance. I excelled at Investments and gained valuable skills in market and equity analysis and forecasting. In my final year at Le Moyne, I completed an internship with the Dolphin Green & Gold Fund. While with the fund, I was involved in choosing stocks, conducting in-depth research on potential investments, and then pitching them to the board. The board then used our presentation and financial modeling to inform their investment strategies. Through this experience I gained essential analytical skills and sharpened my presentation and communication skills.During my internship at Equitable Advisors, I learned how to create portfolios using Morningstar and to develop diversification strategies for stocks, bonds, and real estate. I created a variety of portfolios that ranged from conservative to aggressive. I also learned how to prospect for clients and participate in discovery meetings to gather appropriate information.
