Following six years with Dublin City Council in the Main Drainage Division he joined Nicholas O'Dwyer Ltd in 1989 and became a Director in 1996. He has over thirty years experience in the design, preparation of contract documents and administration of contracts for Water Services Projects throughout the country.In particular he has been at the forefront of the development of waste water treatment in Ireland using the model of bundling a number of towns and villages into a single Design Build and Operate Contract. He was responsible for the first pilot project of this type in the Suir catchment.John is a member of Engineers Ireland.
