Current- Manage the planning, development and execution of strategic internal/external communications plans for government agencies, nonprofits and large corporations- Develop outreach programs that engage and involve diverse stakeholders equally, including the traditionally underserved, through a combination of formal and grassroots efforts- Write, produce and oversee the distribution of various communications collateral (fact sheets, newsletters, press releases, websites, etc.) that take highly technical information and presents it in an engaging and understandable manner for lay and media audiences- Foster media relations to secure print and online coverage of community events and project milestones for a nonprofit healthcare institution and various redevelopment projects- Manage social media calendar for a nonprofit healthcare institution that has seen page followers and overall engagement double in the past year- Developed and implemented annual wetlands environmental education program that has reached over 800 middle school and college students since its inception in 2013- Create communication templates for staff to share lessons learned and best management practices to improve efficiencies across departments- Manage a staff of public participation/community engagement specialists- Mentor and train new staff on best practices the company implements across all projects to ensure success and client satisfaction
