Provide primary support to OTML’s Server, Storage systems. This support includes the maintenance and availability of these systems 24x7, 365 days a year. Some of these systems include Antivirus, Exchange Mail, Proxy Firewall, Web & email filtering systems, Active Directory etc.Provide specialist support on Virtual environments ie, ESXi VMWare, Citrix, HP Blade Server & SAN storage infrastructure, external internet and intranet web services and restore related issues to the business. To initiate and implement activities and systems to maximize system availability.To initiate and implement activities, systems to enhance and improve security on all enterprise systems.To initiate activities to effectively monitor the health status of all core database and application server & storage systems across all OTML sites. To provide advice and assist in implementing systems that will minimize any impact of the Department on the environment and to ensure the workplace health and safety of fellow employees, contractors and stakeholders is upheld at all times.To ensure any change to OTML’s production systems that will impact services for business users meets the IS change management guidelines and procedures.To ensure all proposed changes are reviewed with respective IS teams to minimise impact on all production database environments across OTML.Responsible for the delivery of assigned specialist Infrastructure project tasks that require the planning, design and implementation of database systems meet project deadlines and schedules.

Reporting to the Data Centre Manager within Telikom PNG's ICT Department, I was responsible for the upkeep of servers, storage and all associated infrastructure in the Data Centre. The role included design, planning and provisioning systems/resources based on demands from various other departments within Telikom PNG to meet the demands of external customers.
