Leading a multi-million dollar multi-vendor Network Data Circuit Replacement project at 55 Healthcare facilities. Providing network redundancy and efficiencies that resulted in a yearly operating savings of $2million dollars per year.

• Successful delivery of Oracle 10g to 11g database upgrades for 85 production application databases. Migrations were performed off-hours to reduce application and database downtime. Results of $2million savings in support expenses.• Work with 3rd Party vendor to define policy and process around Data Mapping for the business. Eventual savings realized $3.5 million after 1 year.• Managing a team of Architects in reviewing where data resides and process mapping. This will lead to streamlining of the applications and environments.

Lead team of 12 cross-functional matrixed resources to install hardware, develop process and procedure documentation, test mitigation requirements, define implementation strategy and execute the conversion and migration of current outdated SUN Solaris hardware by building out 12 new Red Hat Enterprise Servers running Oracle RAC 11gR2, managing $1.2M budget dollars and coordinating all communications and implementation support resources.Managed the migration of 91 SUN Solaris servers running 193 legacy applications over 742 Development, Test, and Production environments with no business hour outages experienced by business users.

Worked with cross-functional support teams to implement hardware and develop software solutions; generating $5M in new revenue.Participated on team of technology Project Managers to re-engineer existing processes and develop a new template supporting the project estimation process, reducing the average duration of the end-to-end process from 12 to 5 days and improving the accuracy of estimates through standardization and inclusion guidelines.

Using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, managed 17 Web Engineers and Web Administrators and coordinated with cross-functional project teams to implement hardware and software applications for web-based and virtual environments, creating disaster recovery and load balanced solutions to maintain 100% uptime, adhering to the Internet Planning and Engineering (IPE) roadmap and corporate standards, meeting strict deadlines, controlling budget to meet estimates, and delivering multi-level management reporting Responsibilities included mentoring technical resources, gathering and confirming requirements, conducting analysis & design sessions, providing technical architecture and integration designs, implementation, documentation, testing, and warranty period support.Solutions delivered resulted in generating over $12.5M in new revenue, vendor support savings of $1.5M, and a reduction of hardware footprint by 30% and supported Value Added Services, RISK Services, UNIX Technology Services, and Data Warehouse functional areas; with the majority of solutions being customer-facing systems developed to increase revenue through the use of mobile technology and other projects supporting cost reduction and performance enhancements through technology refreshes.Streamlined tasks, refined processes and improved communications to shortening total time to implement by 5%, reducing overall costs by 12% across concurrent efforts, and increasing customer satisfaction by 10%.

Cisco Storage Area Network (SAN) - Oversaw the productization and implementation of a new Cisco infrastructure and managed migrations of the replication network (18 dual-path storage arrays at two sites housing all business critical systems and data) to new Dark Fiber and from Brocade to Cisco switches. This effort required extensive communication and coordination across multiple projects, vendors, operations teams, engineers, and end-users to successfully ensure no disruptions to the business during or as a result of the migrations.Storage Infrastructure SLA and Tiering Matrix - Managed a team of external resources to develop and deploy an enterprise Storage Service Level Agreement (SLA) and a Tiered Storage Solution Matrix providing guidelines for tier assignment based on user, performance and high availability/disaster recovery requirements. Implementation of and migrations to appropriate tiers resulted in blended storage costs dropping from $300/GB to $25/GB and capital expenditure savings of $18M over 7 years.Branch and Home Office Workstation Refreshes - Assigned as project lead for two separate programs to manage and coordinate the deployment of new network infrastructure, desktops, laptops and servers to 686 remote locations. Also responsible for the redesign and facilities engineering for test lab facilities and production equipment supporting new operating systems and application functionality.Branch Router Replacements - Orchestrated the replacement of all Frame Circuit Routers for 647 Branch offices across 49 states,; This initiative required managing schedules and resources across all branches, AT&T and a third-party installation company.

Managed multiple projects ranging in budget from $1.5M to $12.7M encompassing both internal and customer facing initiatives. Key assignments were: Global Freight Corporation Infrastructure Consolidation, Telecommunications Corporation Y2K Audit, State Government Infrastructure Implementation and Standardization, Telecommunications Corporation Asset Management Audit, Healthcare Desktop Standardization, and Retail Infrastructure Upgrade.
