John situates his work within the global gender justice movement. His professional career spans over 10 years in humanitarian aid in Iraq, South Sudan and Kenya, where he supported gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response efforts, as well as a psychotherapy practice in the US where he supports trauma survivors and other clients to recover, heal and thrive. His psychotherapy practice is open to humanitarian aid workers and other folks working internationally.
