Past Vice-President of AICLA, Australasia.Following several senior Loss Adjusting roles in Perth, London and Melbourne, John opened his own Loss Adjusting practice in WA in 2000.Seeing first-hand the gap for specialist representation for industry he 'crossed the insurance road' in 2005 founding YourClaim, a Claims Preparation company.In recent years accomplished co-owner Graham Cox has increasingly led the traditional Claims Preparation instructions with John specializing in the more 'distressed' commercial insurance claim matters. That specialist single service offering has now formally been spun out of YourClaim and in to the 'no win no fee' Beanstalk Advisory, differentiating and simplifying the businesses. On a personal level John’s a massive sports fan and claims to have been above average at a number of sports whilst falling short of being outstanding at any. In support of that attention seeking assertion he’s still stumbling around sport seeking to stay relevant. He can currently be found down the back half of the peloton in weekly rides continuing to stay very red in the face for very little improvement.Since 2012 he has completed an annual week long charity bike ride (Nokor Tep) in Cambodia with money raised building a women’s hospital. The Hospital is scheduled for opening in March 2018. Beanstalk sponsors two (6 rider) cycling teams in the (3 day) Tour of Margaret River taking out one of the Stages in their category in the November 2017 event.John is married to the very beautiful Joanna and they have a stocky 12 year old (Harry).
